Edward Paul Postema age 89, of Ravenna, MI died Friday, November 2, 2018 at home with his loving family at his side. Edward was born on November 12, 1928 in Muskegon, MI to the late Burtis and Goldie (Fuller) Postema. He married Florence F. (Froster) Postema on October 15, 1949 in Muskegon, MI. He was the manager of Sears for many years. Edward is survived by his wife of 69 Years: Florence F. Postema of Ravenna, 4 Sons: Daniel (Cheryl) Postema of Ravenna, John (Roxann) Postema of Ohio, James (Lorraine) Postema of Ravenna and Mark (Cora) Postema of Muskegon. 1 Daughter: Suzanne (Scott) Kenyon of Grand Rapids. 19 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Son: Michael P. Postema, 1 Grandson: Jeffrey Postema and 2 Brothers: Robert and Donald. Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be prayed on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Catherines Catholic Church in Ravenna with Father Fred Brucker celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Catherines Catholic Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm at the St. Catherines Hall and again 1 hour prior to the service at the church. The rosary will be at 8:00pm on Monday at the hall. Memorials may be directed to: St. Catherines Altar Society or the Endowment Fund.
