Rarely is there a memory of the house on M-66 without Bill in it! I'll always remember him as a kind man with smiling eyes who always let a little kid tag along while he tended to the ponies. I always wanted a horse and envied those Pfaff girls!! I'll never forget the way he would trim hooves and those corgies would watch him intently waiting to get the treat! I remember when I broke my arm riding and Bill just quietly shook his head and told me how the ponies will bloat their bellies so the cinch would be loose. I never forgot to tighten it again! I remember him showing me how to shave fly eggs off with a razor blade and I'll always cherish the "grown up" feeling it gave me when he let me do it too. I'll always think of Bill as a gentle man, a teaching man and a man who liked to make kids smile. Please know I'm thinking of you-Kristen, Julie and Francie-because I always thought Bill was a great Dad.

Francie, Julie, & Kristen, Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My deepest condolences. He was a very good man & hard worker on the farm on Cox Rd. Your dad & mine use to work together on projects and was a very good friend of my dad & our family. I wish I could help your loss, as I know what it feels like to lose a father who was a good person, too. I don't know if you remember me but I use to babysit you girls. I am the oldest of Lester & Frances Campbell. You are in my prayers. Thinking of you, Carol

Wow Dad, you are getting some nice notes. Isn't it amazing the effect we have on other's lives and may not even realize it?

Katy, thank you for bringing Bill into our family and our lives. We will miss his corny jokes and bright smile, his love and concern for all of his family. Francie, Julie and Kristen,we know you have lost a wonderful father. Whenever we saw Bill, he would be sure to fill us in on the most recent news of you and your families, and he was extremely proud of all of you and his grandchildren.
