Tadiya (Teddy) F. Widojkovich age 72, of Ravenna, MI died Friday, July 21, 2017 at home suddenly. He was born on September 24, 1944 in Asang, Germany to the late Steve and Mary (Wiszynski) Widojkovich. The family came to America and settled in the Muskegon area. Teddy spent his early years in Grant living on White Road. He graduated from Grant High School, then attended various colleges earning his Master’s Degree in Special Education. He taught for several years. He then traveled to many areas in the United States and also Europe and Israel. Teddy loved to read and was also an accomplished writer. He was working on a mystery novel when he died. He oved playing with words and was knowledgeable in a variety of areas. He will be remembered for his wit, especially his puns. He also enjoyed the outdoors, most recently hiking in the Adirondach Mountains and kayaking Michigan Rivers up until his death. Teddy worked as an assessment test reader at Measurement Inc. in Grand Rapids. He also maintained a book selling business from home. He was a committed member of New Life in Christ church which sometimes met in his home. He was also deeply committed to his local community serving as a member of the Village Council. He volunteered in the Katrina clean-up and also with the Red Cross and Hospice of Muskegon County.
