Pearl Evelyn Eadie age 90, of Conklin died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Creekview Lodge Assisted Living surrounded by her loving family. Pearl was born on December 31, 1919 in Baldwin, Wisconsin to the late Rev. Arend T. and Anna (Vos) Laman. She married Norman E. Eadie on August 18, 1950 in Conklin, Michigan. She was a school teacher in Ravenna until her retirement in 1983. Pearl is survived by her husband of 59 years, Norman of Conklin, 1 Daughter: Anna McMillan of Greenfield, Indiana 3 Sons: Arden (Geraldine) Eadie, Norlin (Carol) Eadie and Carl (Brenda) Eadie all of Conklin. 15 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. 1 Brother: Rev.David Laman of Pella, Iowa. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Pearl was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a Son In-Law: David McMillan. 1 Brother: Rev. Thomas Laman and 2 Sisters: Harriet Laman, Margaret Vegter and Sister In-Law Lois Laman. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church in Ravenna with Rev. Tony DeLaRosa officiating. Burial will be at McNitt Cemetery. The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00pm & 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends and at the church 1 hour prior to services.
