Paul G. Cook Jr. age 69, died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Spectrum Health Rehab and Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born on November 30, 1950 in Muskegon, MI to Paul Gaylord and Barbara Jean (Anderson) Cook. He married Denise Ann (Nichols) Cook on April 15, 1972 in Conklin, MI. Paul loved the outdoors and now is fishing a lake or stream where the fish are always biting, hunting woods where the deer are plentiful, the dirt two-tracks are never dusty, the snowmobile trails have plenty of snow with a sweet base. Paul is survived by his wife of 47+ years: Denise A. Cook of Ravenna. 2 Daughters: Ann (Jim) Millett of Bailey, Paula (Paul) Morton of Ravenna. Son: Paul M. (Holly) Cook of Grant. 6 Grandchildren: Joseph, Colin, Mckenna, Kailey, Remi and Briggs. Mother: Barbara J. Cook of Ravenna. 2 Brothers: Roger Cook and Ron (Sue) Cook both of Ravenna. Sister: Diane Evans of Montague. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Paul G. Cook, Sister in-law: Paula Cook, Nephew: Duke Cook and Brother in-law: Greg Russell. Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be prayed on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11:00am at St. Bartholomew in Newaygo with Father Steve Geerling celebrant. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 5:00 to 8:00pm at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna.
